Lactose-intolerant brothers Tom and Nick Watkins created Mighty – plant-based m.ilks that were available to stockists. They wanted to sell direct to consumers too, so we created a B2B and B2C e-commerce site for them.

Mighty drastic

Originally, Mighty’s website was built on WordPress and aimed primarily for B2B customers. However for Mighty to thrive in the B2C market, we knew we’d need to mush the old site and start from scratch with a shiny new e-commerce site built on the Shopify platform which would cater for both stockists and the public.

Shopify and Mighty are ideally suited as this combination enabled us to create a bespoke website complete with a monthly subscription model. Think about it – it’s perfect, as people use milk every day. This worked wonders as it delivered direct repeat sales and a bucketful of loyal customers. Plus, by getting Mighty on Trustpilot, we broke another barrier to purchase by letting potential buyers see honest reviews from happy customers!

Mighty pleased

Tom and Nick were chuffed to bits with the result. In just three months, we’d designed and built the new Shopify e-commerce site making Mighty m.lks available direct to consumers. The brand also achieved an excellent rating on Trustpilot. In terms of business growth, Mighty will soon be available in 5,000 stores in 12 countries across the UK, Europe and Asia.

Keepin’ it fresh

We refreshed the homepage and product pages in March 2021 to create space for the launch of their new Mighty Human protein shakes. Want to try it? Well, you may have to wait as it sold out rapidly and is proving ridiculously popular. We refined the order of the product pages so the ingredients and benefits are presented in a logical seamless way.
